Volunteers & Field Trips/Chaperones
With field trips starting, please make sure you have your volunteer form completed and approved if wanting to volunteer or attend future field trips. To be an approved chaperone/volunteer you must fill out the district volunteer application at www.okaloosaschools.com/depts/ca/volunteer. In the form, please choose chaperone if wanting to be one in the future. Once completed, you should receive an email within a week or two stating if you were approved. Bring that email and your Driver’s License with you the day of the trip/event. This process cannot be completed at the school. Without the approved email, you will not be able to volunteer or attend field trips.

This is a P.E. group that allows us to push information regarding upcoming events, general information, and volunteer opportunities. Good morning parents. This is Ms. Klugh, Principal of Bluewater Elementary School with an important school safety announcement. This morning our school went into a brief, precautionary “lockout” at the recommendation of law enforcement for an off campus incident in the vicinity of our school. These additional safety measures did not affect your student’s classroom instruction. Our “lock-out” has been lifted and we have resumed normal school operations at this time. Again, this incident occurred off-campus and our lockout protocols were initiated as a precaution. Safety is our top priority. Thank you for your continued support of Bluewater and have a good day.

Good evening Bluewater families. Here are a few friendly reminders for tomorrow's first day of school. in order to keep our pedestrians safe and help with car rider ramp flow. The parking lot in the front on the right will be closed to parking for walk up pedestrian traffic. Pedestrians will need to park off campus and use the crosswalk to come on campus. Students arriving by car are considered car riders and must use the car rider ramp. When exiting car rider ramp, it will be a right turn only as directed. Please also keep in mind, that for your safety, pedestrians should not cross the bus ramp.
