The Okaloosa County School District invites community partners and the media to celebrate the grand opening of Baker School's new multipurpose building, expanded parking lot, and covered PE pavilion. These projects were made possible through the voter-approved Half-Cent Sales Tax.
The event will also highlight the renovation of Baker's commercial-grade culinary classroom, funded by the district's Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, as well as the installation of three new flagpoles, generously supported by Adam's Sanitation, local veterans' organizations, and several community leaders.
The ribbon-cutting will occur on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 1369 14th Street, Baker, starting at 9:00 a.m. Attendees are asked to arrive by 8:45 a.m. for check-in at the front office. Please RSVP to Catherine Card if you plan to attend.
