Hardship Appeals
A hardship appeal may be granted for cases in which the parent/guardian demonstrates profound hardship that significantly impacts the student's ability to succeed academically. The parent/guardian must complete the Hardship Appeal form and submit it to the principal of the school that they wish for their student to attend. The parent/guardian may be asked to provide documentation of any circumstances that led to the hardship request. Athletic participation should not be the sole reason for a hardship appeal.
You can print out the Hardship Appeal form (MIS Form 5423) below or a parent/guardian may obtain the form from the school principal. The Hardship Appeal form may be submitted to appeal a denial of a COE application or to schools at capacity that did not take COE applications.
