2025 K-12 Art Show Winners

The Okaloosa County School District, in partnership with the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, proudly hosted the 2025 K-12 Student Art Show on April 23rd and 24th at the C.H. “Bull” Rigdon Fairgrounds (formerly the Northwest Florida Fairgrounds). This annual celebration of creativity featured over 2,000 stunning works of art created by students from over 15 elementary schools and 15 middle and high schools across the district. The event was free and open to the public, welcoming families, educators, and community members to experience the incredible talent of Okaloosa’s young artists.

A special reception on the evening of April 24th brought the community together in support of the arts. The Fort Walton Beach High School Jazz Band provided live entertainment, and the highly anticipated Best of Show and Superlative Awards were presented to outstanding student artists. Superintendent Marcus Chambers expressed his admiration and support for the student artists and the vital role of arts education in the district: “We are incredibly proud of our students and their creativity. Events like the K-12 Art Show remind us how essential the arts are in helping students express themselves, develop confidence, and connect with their communities. The talent on display this week is a testament to the dedication of our students, teachers, and families.” Now in its 25th year, the partnership between the Okaloosa County School District and the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation continues to uplift student voices through visual art.
