Instructional Television
Okaloosa County School District’s Instructional Television (OCSD-ITV) provides video products that highlight the activities taking place in Okaloosa County schools, support for entities within the school district who need video products, and assistance with production of Professional Development videos for departments of the Okaloosa County School District. We provide various media services, including video editing, DVD authoring, studio support, duplication, and support for and through live video streaming. School Zone
School Zone is a program that highlights the activities of the district, features our schools and their successful programs and events, and provides information to the public on areas of interest that affect the school district. It airs on Cox Cable Channel 6 – check their listings for times. Also available on ITV Online on this website.
School Zone for ELL Families
School Zone for ELL Families is a program providing information pertinent to students and parents for whom English may not be the primary language, or may not be spoken at all. These programs are offered in several languages (primarily Spanish) and cover a wide range of topics discussing such items as School District policies, information and assistance available to ELL students, preparation for college, identity theft protection, and many others. School Board Workshops and Meetings
School Board workshops and meetings are recorded and aired on local cable outlets, with archive DVD's available for duplication. The meetings and workshops can be seen on Cox Cable Channel 6 on Tuesdays (following a Monday night meeting) at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. Check local listings. The workshops and meetings are also uploaded to the School District website under the School Board webpage.
Graduation (and special event) live-streaming
High School graduations are live-streamed each year so that family and friends unable to attend the actual ceremonies can watch along in real-time. Notifications will be posted on the district website's home page with all pertinent information prior to graduation.
ITV information is owned and operated by the Okaloosa County School District and is licensed as authorized by the Federal Communications Commission.
