Angelique Patterson, a Junior HOPE Squad member at Choctaw HS, Selected For 2022-2023 HOPE Squad National Council
Superintendent Chambers hosted a press conference at Choctawhatchee High School to announce that Angelique Patterson, a Junior HOPE Squad member, was selected to be a member of the 2022-2023 HOPE Squad National Council. “To have Angelique named as a member of the HOPE Squad National Council will not only be a great opportunity for her to grow her leadership skills but also for the Choctaw HOPE Squad and other HOPE Squads in our District. She is a humble, confident young lady, and I know she will do great things on this committee and in life,” said Superintendent Chambers.

Angelique is also a member of the Okaloosa County Youth Leadership Council, a Director of WBGI-TV- Choctaw’s in-house television production program, Junior Class President/Senior Class President-Elect, and a member of the National Honor Society, Link Crew, and Multicultural Club. On top of that, she maintains a 4.1 weighted GPA and is a Dual Enrolled student.

Mrs. Heck shared that the HOPE Squad at Choctaw has already made an impact on students’ lives. “I am proud to see our HOPE Squad students in the hallways of Choctaw and attending events, spreading a positive message, “she said.
