Longwood Students Participate in Kids Vote
Longwood Leopards took an active role in voting this November. Students from Kindergarten - 5th grade went to the school's voting polls as part of Okaloosa County Kids Vote, Too™! program. The Longwood Student Council ran the polling stations for students to sign in and cast their ballot for Florida's Senator, Governor, and other political seats.
The Okaloosa County Kids Vote, Too™! program began in Okaloosa County in 1998 and is now one of the strongest student voter education programs in the state of Florida. Kids Vote, Too™ hopes to build and reinforce a lifelong interest and habit in voting.
